CHALLENGES
With this area containing a lot of Aboriginal Heritage Land, all work areas were kept to a minimum & minimising excessive disturbance in the area was a big focus. Clearing boundaries had to be strictly adhered to with foot traffic allowed only along the bore path and kept to a minimum. Another main challenge was concern around granite being present. Through multiple site visits and meetings with the Client both parties decided to have Hard Rock Tooling/compressor/hammer equipment on standby throughout the job to ensure no unforeseen delay to the schedule.
TEAM SUCCESS
Completion of all the works safely and efficiently within the time frame allocated to the works.
Once our 40x55DR had completed both pilots for the bores, our client requested that we complete the Telstra feed from the existing network to the Mine Main Gate.
This consisted of over 200m of 110pe comms and 2 x C8 pits. The add on works were completed through Genus Plus Group.
DURATION
16 days onsite exclusive of Mob & Demob.
